Monday evening -
Fred's mother died peacefully today at Hospice in Cincinnati. She has had congestive heart failure, exacerbated by a fall at the hospital a few days ago. Jessica, Josh, Justin, an Alison have been here to be with her. (Natalie couldn't come but has been in touch.) Fred is doing OK. The funeral will be sometime next week, to allow her relatives time to come.
Meanwhile, Peggy McIntosh from Wellesley arrived tonight and will speak at MUM and HUM (MUH?)tomorrow on "White Privilege." She's staying with me.
